  • All SunMUN XVI attendees are asked to conduct themselves in a professional and dignified manner.

    Delegates should refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior, including bullying, harassment, or the use of vulgar or profane language. Delegates found in violation of the SunMUN XVI conduct policy may be disqualified from consideration for awards or asked to leave the conference.

  • Questions of personal liberty and sensitive political issues will not be made the subject of debate at SunMUN. This policy is in place to foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages constructive dialogue.   • The use of AI tools—in particular, generative AI—is strictly prohibited at SunMUN and will be treated as plagiarism. Delegates found to be using AI tools in their policy papers or for in-conference writing tasks will immediately be disqualified for awards.

  • SunMUN XVI is not affiliated with the United Nations, its organs, the work of its Member States, or the work of any organization operating under its aegis. Any reference to such organizations, or the use of their names or trademarks, is made solely for educational purposes.

    SunMUN XVI is a strictly non-partisan conference and does not aid, endorse, or support any nation, political candidate, or political campaign.

  • SunMUN XVI is committed to providing an engaging experience for all delegates without reference to race, color, national origin, disability, age, gender, or sexual orientation.
