All SunMUN XVII attendees are asked to conduct themselves in a professional and dignified manner.

Delegates should refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior, including but not limited to bullying, verbal or physical harassment, inappropriate language, or any actions that undermine the productive and respectful environment of conference. Delegates found in violation of the conduct policy may be disqualified from consideration for awards or asked to leave the conference.

Delegates ​m​ust act with decorum and treat every topic with respect. Chairs within committees reserve the right to steer debate, speak to delegates, or stop debate if topics are not treated with respect. This policy is in place to foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages constructive, but not limited dialogue. MUNatASU and their SunMUN Conferences is not affiliated with the United Nations, its organs, the work of its Member States, or the work of any organization operating under its aegis. Any reference to such organizations, or the use of their names or trademarks, is made solely for educational purposes.

MUNatASU is a strictly non-partisan conference and does not aid, endorse, or support any nation, political candidate, or political campaign. While conferences may feature speakers with political affiliations, MUNatASU shall remain impartial and shall not engage in or contribute to the political success or policies of such persons.

The use of AI tools—in particular, generative AI—is strictly prohibited at SunMUN and will be treated as plagiarism. Delegates found to be using AI tools in their policy papers or for in-conference writing tasks will immediately be disqualified for awards.

Traditional committees: Delegates are permitted to use technology for drafting working papers and resolutions only during unmoderated caucuses, or during other periods as determined by the Dais. Delegates must refrain from copying text for draft resolutions, removing content from draft resolutions without the author's consent, or plagiarizing from online sources.

Non-Traditional Committees: Delegates are not permitted to utilize technology in any non-traditional committee. Delegates must use paper, pencil, and a binder of notes should they register in a non-traditional committee. Delegates may not pre-write private or public directives.

Western Business Attire will be the expected dress code for delegates and staff for all committee sessions.
