Why be a chair at SunMUN XVI?

Experience SunMUN XVI behind the scenes, build a lasting network of Sun Devils, and make a permanent impact on the future of Model United Nations in Arizona. Apply by October 10th at 11:59 PM MST!

  • We fully cover your registration to attend our conference. You'll receive a UN lapel pin, enjoy catered lunch on both days, and of course help chair SunMUN XVI!

  • For now, all you need to do is fill out the application and wait for your decision.

    If accepted, we’ll expect you to attend a number of committee-specific training sessions before the conference. These training sessions are mandatory to be a chair.

  • Not necessarily. All applicants are considered based on the merit of their background without regard for school affiliation or registration.

  • We accepted 12 chairs for SunMUN XV from a pool of 22 applicants. We’re looking forward to accepting more this year!

  • Submit your application to us by October 10th, 2025 at 11:59 PM MST.

  • We’ll let you know via email by October 17th.
